Completed in 2014, this elegant, two-story senior community is located on three residential acres and caters exclusively to seniors with assisted living needs. Cornerstone’s 110 units are comprised of luxurious apartments with studio, one and two bedroom floor plans that feature a state-of-the-art emergency call system with access points in each bedroom, living room and bathroom.
This premium 2.5-acre site off Interstate 80 was originally planned for a single multi-story office building. The developer re-evaluated his approach to developing the site and moved forward instead with a plan to build nine single-story office buildings (clustered in pairs with one stand-alone building) offering the opportunity for individual ownership and the flexibility to easily phase the project.
The vision for this project centered around the dealership’s need to comply with Honda Corporation’s Generation III Image Plan. A comprehensive renovation of the site and expansion of the showroom and offices was completed in four phases to allow the dealership to continue operating during construction.
Over the years, the 88-year-old Clark Theatre had been used as a cinema and a church, and then closed its doors permanently. The complete renovation of this nearly 10,000 sq. ft., 3-story building began in 2012 when investors contacted Rob Sesar with an ambitious plan to expand the theatre into a more serious entertainment facility—one that would host nationally recognized comedy acts and musical groups and host large private events.
